‘Five Photos, Five Stories’ Challenge Day 3: I’m the Winner!

Alex nominated me to participate in the ‘Five Photos, Five Stories’ Challenge. I like Alex’s blog, Only Bad Chi, because it’s awesomely funny. I probably also like it because I relate to almost everything she says, which I guess is a lot of what drives us to read blogs, right?! I’m hoping this shameless flattery will help her not be mad that I’m just cutting and pasting the next part from her blog 🙂

For the challenge, I have to post a different photo for five consecutive days, and include an accompanying story (fiction or non-fiction) along with each. I also have to nominate a new blogger each day to keep the challenge going! If I nominate you, it’s completely up to you whether you participate. The only other rules are to mention the person who nominated you in your first post, and keep nominating others.

cool stampsA while ago I entered several contests on different blogs (try searching the tag “giveaway”), and I won one! This is from ventureadlaxre, I entered this giveaway. I got to pick two books from a stack, and they came all the way from Australia! The parcel was covered in cool stamps, and I was really excited about them. How fun! I love knowing that it came from literally the other side of the world. Is that dorky? I don’t care!

free books!

I haven’t read these yet, but after I do I will continue the tradition I started last time I won something. I will host a giveaway here! I love books, but don’t like to keep them around after I’ve read them. I think they should be shared.

What do you all think about giveaways? Do you like them, or am I wasting my time? I think they are fun 🙂

I want to nominate Amy at Vogue Infatuation to do the challenge next (no pressure if you don’t want to!)!
