This is the kind of night I had last night. It was our company party, and we all drank and ate too much. However, I did stay strong and only had one piece of bread, and only half of my dinner. I also left way earlier than I normally do- which meant far less binge drinking (ummm I still had four drinks. Not trying to pretend I’m some sort of not drinking saint here).
By some miracle, I am down almost three pounds from last week (6.8 pounds total since January). We shall see if this carries over to next week or is just a miracle, but I haven’t been drinking this week until last night. I also have been trying to cut out the snack I have after work. I decided that they are killing my progress.
I had my last personal training session, and I had decided that instead of buying more personal training, I would use up my fitness class passes first. As I type this, I think I’m changing my mind. We JUST talked about how I need personal training. I don’t want to lose momentum. I’m being silly and need to buy it π It’s like I just don’t listen!
How is everyone else’s food and exercise going this week? I also had a crazy scare with a friend- she got a pretty bad injury from yoga. I’m now afraid of yoga, and I think I’m going to take that off My 35 Project and change it to something else!

Hopefully you’d be proud – I was going to order a pizza last night… I was hungry and tired of what I had in my fridge. BUT- then I realized that was against my budget, weight loss goal, and lent sacrifice. So I opted for some carrot sticks and ranch instead haha. I still have a loooong way to go and reading your posts help keep me motivated!

Oh my gosh I am SO proud. It would have been so easy to order that pizza and eat at least half of it. You would have been so mad at yourself.
I do think you should have had more than carrots for dinner, but at least it’s not something you’ll regret π
It’s so sweet that my posts are helping motivate you! We’re all in this together:)

The little human just asked me what I was doing. Iβm reading your blog, of course, but instead I said, “doing a math problem” and said “6.8 divided by two is what?” A moment of silence and the answer followed 3.4. I shot back “3.4 times 12 is what?” Out came the smart phone (somebody needs pay attention in math) and the answer 40.80! What a number-youβre on your way to being 41 pounds lighter by years end.

I’ve fallen off the food wagon, so you’ve inspired me to get back on! Even just an hour ago I was thinking “fuck it all! I’m going to eat ALL the things!” But then chewed gum instead, and am so happy to have just read this because I feel more motivated now. Thank you π

I started eating MORE this week. I got a fitness band, and it was telling me I need more calories. I’ve been on a plateau for 4 months eating 1200 calories a day, so I figured I’d try it fitness band’s way. So far I haven’t gained any weight. I could even say that I may have lost a pound or two, but it’s too early to tell if it’s real, or just a normal fluctuation. Meanwhile, I’m LOVING all this extra food!!!

That can totally be the case, actually! It’s great that you’re trying eating a little more, in your situation. You have to keep me updated!

I LOVE having this fitness band. The more I walk, the more it tells me to eat. Do I find myself pacing from one end of the house to the other until I’ve earned enough calories for a snack? Why yes… yes I do.

I have a Fitbit and it used to help me like that, but I’ve been sliding. Which band do you have?

I got the Jawbone UP24. It’s okay, but if I had it to do again I might go with a different one. The Jawbone claims to be flexible, but most of it is absolutely rigid, and while the size is big enough for my wrist, the shape doesn’t exactly suit my wrist. It feels a little like I’m wearing a capo on my arm. I’m hoping this improves with time.

Wow! 6.8 lbs since January — that’s great! I, on the other hand, gained two or three pounds after the holidays and haven’t lost them yet haha. Also, please don’t turn away from yoga! Just make sure you do easy poses very carefully at first. It’s so rewarding as you slowly get better at it.

Thank you, I’m really excited π As for yoga… Maybe you’re right. Maybe I just need to take it super slow.
